Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working with a destination management company (DMC)
  • willingness and ability to travel frequently
  • availability for flexible schedule including overtime, evenings and weekends
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • proven client relationship skills
  • ability to interface with personnel at all levels
  • ability to work independently with little direction and meet deadlines
  • adaptable and quick to learn new tools and systems
  • high level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Support client needs during the planning and execution of programs
  • conduct client calls, participate in site visits, and attend pre- and post-convention meetings
  • create and revise room layouts as needed
  • proposal and presentation preparation based on program specifications
  • document production including budgets, schedules, venue letters, and other show-related documents with continued management of files
  • source, contract and manage vendors such as florists, entertainment providers, game providers, linens and decor companies
  • provide details and documentation to venue team, vendors, and contracted staff
  • partner with facilities and venue teams, direct staff, contractors and vendors on show site to ensure seamless execution
  • partner and collaborate across TEK’s Lines of Service
  • assist with tracking and reconciling show budgets and post-show analysis
  • perform all other duties assigned by management
  • travel is required
