Job Description

Our client is a dynamic event technology services provider specializing in delivering exceptional onsite technical support for live conferences and events across the United States. As a leader in the event technology field, this company is dedicated to ensuring seamless technological operations at high-visibility gatherings, playing a critical role in the success of numerous conferences, trade shows, and networking events held nationwide. The firm is known for its commitment to quality, professionalism, and innovation, offering cutting-edge solutions that enhance the attendee experience and support organizers in managing complex event logistics with precision.

This employment opportunity is for Onsite Event Technicians, a crucial role within the company's field operations team. These technicians serve as the on-the-ground technical experts at conference and event venues, providing direct support to clients and project teams. This position is part-time and highly travel-intensive, requiring approximately 90 percent travel to various locations nationwide. Candidates may reside anywhere within the United States; however, preference is given to those near large metropolitan airports to facilitate frequent travel and event attendance.

The primary focus for the Onsite Event Technician is to ensure the flawless setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of event technologies and devices in live environments. These include but are not limited to check-in stations incorporating tablets, badge printers, and routers, as well as session scanning and lead capture systems. Technicians act as the liaison between project teams and clients, guaranteeing smooth communication and rapid response to technical issues at high-profile events. While a technical background or skillset is preferred, the company provides training to equip team members with the necessary expertise to succeed in this role.

This role demands a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills due to its customer-facing nature. Technicians must be adept at managing fast-paced and often unpredictable situations onsite, ensuring event technology functions flawlessly to create a positive experience for attendees and organizers alike. Flexibility in schedule is essential, as event dates and hours may vary significantly. The company offers immediate opportunities for motivated individuals looking to join a committed team with multiple upcoming events already scheduled.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about event technology support, who thrive in active, travel-heavy roles, and enjoy engaging directly with clients and operational teams at large-scale events. The combination of travel, customer interaction, and technical problem-solving makes this a uniquely rewarding job for the right candidate. As an Onsite Event Technician, you will be a vital part of delivering memorable, tech-enabled experiences that elevate every event’s success.
