The Event Setup Houseperson position at Hyatt Regency Bellevue is an essential role within the hotel’s event services department. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in setup required, banquet experience preferred
  • ability to lift moderate weights regularly
  • must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • commitment to working as part of a team

Job Duties

  • set up meeting spaces with tables, chairs, and necessary supplies
  • break down and clean event areas after use
  • coordinate with event and banquet staff to ensure timely preparation of spaces
  • communicate effectively to understand event specifications and guest requirements
  • transport and arrange equipment and furniture as needed
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and setup areas
  • adhere to safety and hygiene standards while performing all duties
