Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of related work experience
- minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- no licenses or certifications required
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- ability to assist in moving heavier objects over 75 pounds
- ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- clear communication skills
- adherence to company safety policies
- ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Duties
- ensure staff work as a team
- inspect personal hygiene and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies
- communicate with guests, other employees or departments to meet guest needs
- attend and try to comply with any special banquet event preparation
- organize banquet room or area ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of furniture and equipment
- inspect and maintain table organization respecting cleanliness, order and requirements of the group and company standards
- document pertinent information in department records
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation and training of employees
- cultivate and maintain positive work relationships and support team to reach common goals
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- maintain confidentiality and protect company property
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- move, lift, transport and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds unassisted
- assist with moving objects weighing more than 75 pounds
- stand, sit or walk during prolonged periods or entire shifts
- read and visually verify information in various formats
- grasp, turn and handle objects
- reach overhead or under knees including bending and twisting
- navigate uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs
- welcome and recognize all guests per company standards
- speak clearly and professionally
- answer phone calls with proper etiquette
- listen and respond appropriately to employee issues
- perform other reasonable work tasks as assigned
