The role of Event Services Supervisor at the Omni Houston Hotel, offered by Pinnacle Live, is a crucial leadership position responsible for overseeing all floor operations related to event production and technology set-up. This full-time role requires managing a diverse team, including non-union, union, and contract labor, to ensure smooth execution of each event. The Event Services Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and clear communication with clients throughout the event lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include supervising the set-up and removal of technical equipment, ensuring all activities meet Pinnacle Live's rigorous standards. The supervisor must provide clear daily communication for shifts, greet clients professionally, and offer instructions on equipment operation. Continuous communication with clients to anticipate needs and enhance their event experience is essential. Inventory management and security are also significant components of the role, requiring the supervisor to track all equipment carefully and report any deficiencies immediately.

- Two to three years prior experience in the audio visual and/or hospitality industry
- Two years advanced audio and visual experience in a theatrical or live event environment
- Computer proficiency

Job Duties
- Supervise non-union, union and contract labor to ensure all set up and strikes are completed according to Pinnacle Live's standards
- Ensure AM and PM shifts receive clear communication of daily expectations and all log information detailed and complete
- Greet guest/client before the event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment
- Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events
- Follow through on all client requests and look for opportunities to enhance the client’s event
- Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
- Comply and enforce all company security and safety measures
- Manage venue inventory and location of equipment to ensure inventory is secure from theft and/or damage
- Ensure any lost, stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to supervisor
- Continually work toward updating and improving technical skills
- Maintain accurate client event information into the company’s billing/event order system
- Review invoice with client and obtain client’s signature on invoice and add-ons
- Ensure all company occupied areas are clean, organized and up to company standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
