This full-time, non-management Food and Beverage role at The Westin Peachtree Plaza requires a dedicated individual passionate about teamwork, guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. The position involves overseeing banquet event setups, ensuring staff coordination, and upholding company standards in guest services. The role is vital in supporting the management team by assisting in employee training, scheduling, and motivating staff to achieve common goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all banquet areas are set up according to client specifications and company standards, inspecting table setups, and addressing any issues promptly. In addition, they will manage the grooming and attire compliance of the staff and respond to special banquet event requests, ensuring guests’ needs are met with excellence. The role demands physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects, highlighting the importance of physical fitness and stamina.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or g.e.d. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience
- at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- ability to follow company safety and security policies
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance

Job Duties
- ensure staff is working together as a team
- inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies
- communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met
- respond to and try to fulfill special banquet event arrangements
- set up banquet area/room ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of furniture/equipment
- inspect and maintain table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness and agreement with group requirements and company standards, and resolve any problems
- document pertinent information in appropriate department logbook
