The role available at this location is a full-time, non-management position within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category, offering a competitive hourly wage of $20.58. This job emphasizes direct guest interaction and ensuring the smooth coordination of banquet events, playing a vital part in enhancing guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of the JW Marriott brand. As a Meet Group Coordinator/Host(ess), the individual will be responsible for liaising with guests and function coordinators prior to events to ensure that all banquet arrangements meet expectations. This includes reading and analyzing banquet event orders to understand the setup, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, and action stations. The position requires attentiveness to special event arrangements, confirming compliance with all specifications, and following through with any unique guest requests.

The role demands a strong focus on safety, adherence to company policies, and exceptional customer service standards. The coordinator/host(ess) will welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and provide thoughtful and professional assistance throughout the event.
