The Event Services Manager position at Nashville Riverboats is pivotal in maintaining the exceptional standard of service the company is known for. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, catering, weddings, hotels, venues, or related fields

  • Flexible availability including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to board and move safely throughout a vessel
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work aboard a vessel that may be away from dock for several hours at a time

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary client contact after an event is booked by the Sales Team
  • Guide clients through the planning process including timelines, menus, entertainment, floorplans, décor, and event logistics
  • Conduct planning meetings, venue tours, and event consultations
  • Prepare and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and event documentation
  • Coordinate event details with Operations, Culinary, Marine, Hospitality, and Entertainment teams
  • Ensure all event specifications, guest counts, special requests, and operational details are communicated accurately
  • Manage event changes, upgrades, and additions throughout the planning process
  • Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
  • Support event execution and assist with resolving issues to ensure successful events
