In this exciting role, the Event Services Manager will take charge of enhancing catering and food and beverage sales, acting as the key driver behind unforgettable gatherings hosted at the hotel. They will be responsible for cultivating lasting relationships with clients, meeting planners, and groups to ensure that each event stands out as a cherished memory. Working closely with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering & Convention Services, the manager will deploy strategic initiatives to achieve revenue targets and maximize the venue's event-profitability.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in food and beverage or event services preferred
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Available to work overtime as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Creativity and a solid understanding of food, beverage, and events
  • Professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to negotiate, persuade, and influence clients and colleagues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer usage
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and present effectively
