Job Description
Our company is a dynamic and innovative hospitality establishment specializing in delivering exceptional event experiences within a vibrant and fast-paced environment. As a prominent player in the event management and hospitality industry, we focus on creating memorable occasions that reflect our brand's commitment to quality, service, and client satisfaction. We serve a broad clientele that ranges from corporate clients to social events, ensuring each gathering is executed with precision and creativity. Our culture fosters teamwork, professionalism, and a passion for excellence, making us a leading destination for events that require expert coordination and attention to detail.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Services Manager to join our dedicated team. This role is integral to the success of our events, requiring an individual who thrives under pressure and excels in multitasking. The Event Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of events, from the initial planning stages through flawless execution. This position demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach to service. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing logistics, coordinating with various internal departments, and maintaining close relationships with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
The Event Services Manager will act as the primary liaison for group business after the contract has been signed, guiding clients through every detail with professionalism and care. Responsibilities include managing event timelines, room block arrangements, and coordinating food and beverage options tailored to client needs. The role also involves preparing and managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision and attention to detail, as well as clear communication of event specifics to all relevant departments such as culinary, banquets, front office, housekeeping, and audiovisual teams.
On the day of events, the Event Services Manager will oversee execution onsite, ensuring service standards are upheld and addressing any last-minute challenges proactively. A key aspect of the role is to maintain a high-touch, hospitality-driven experience for clients and guests throughout the event lifecycle. The role also includes monitoring event revenue, including food and beverage minimums and billing accuracy, to maximize profitability. Collaboration with the sales team is crucial to provide seamless transitions and support future business development opportunities.
Additionally, the Event Services Manager will conduct post-event follow-up to gauge client satisfaction and identify prospects for repeat business while offering proactive solutions to enhance client experiences continually. This position may also involve supporting local social catering inquiries by conducting site tours, developing proposals, and managing event planning from inception to completion.
This is a full-time, in-person position offering an annual salary range of $40,000 to $40,001. Join a dynamic team where your passion for event planning and hospitality will be valued and your skills challenged in a rewarding role that contributes to the creation of unforgettable events.
