- previous experience in food and beverage catering event management

Job Duties
- Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling
- ensure effective communication both written and personal contact with all departments for the success of the event
- maintain an active trace/follow-up system
- work directly with clients and meeting planners to coordinate and service conference, convention, corporate, and social groups with guest rooms and/or catered functions
- guide and assist with menu selection, beverage selection, room configuration, and AV needs while upselling contracted food/beverage minimums and related activities
- effectively communicate client/group needs to all hotel departments
- maintain strong client relations and ensure meeting specifications are communicated and executed
- monitor and manage room blocks according to contract using group history reports
- review sales contracts and validate key details with clients
- participate in site visits and plan meetings for upcoming groups and potential affiliate business
- perform additional responsibilities as assigned
