The Event Services Crew position is a part-time, hourly role based at the Charleston Gaillard Center, reporting directly to the Event Services Manager. This role is integral to the successful execution of events within the center’s Exhibition Hall and Performance Hall. Crew members are entrusted with the physical setup and teardown of event equipment including tables, linens, chairs, dance floors, and other necessary items, coordinating their efforts closely with the designated event lead to ensure flawless event preparation and breakdown. The position requires physical stamina and reliability, with expectations to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and maintain mobility throughout shifts that can last up to eight hours. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as shifts may occur during mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Candidates are expected to bring a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under pressure. Successful crew members contribute significantly not only to the operational logistics but also to creating an exceptional guest experience at this renowned performing arts venue.
