The role of Client Account Manager at Allied Universal is a vital leadership position responsible for managing multiple accounts throughout Indiana and Kentucky. This role entails overseeing all aspects of event operations at assigned client sites, ensuring seamless execution from preparation to closeout. The Client Account Manager’s responsibilities include supervising event staff and supervisors, managing hiring, training, payroll, and discipline, maintaining client and employee relationships, and ensuring compliance with all contractual and safety requirements. The position demands strong leadership skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high standards of employee morale, service, and appearance. Through effective coordination and operational management, the Client Account Manager supports the success of each event and ensures client satisfaction.

Beyond operational oversight, the Client Account Manager also plays a critical role in developing staff professionally and technically, conducting training sessions, managing resources such as uniforms and equipment, and maintaining clear communication with both clients and internal teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and allied technology platforms like ABI and WinTeam is important for scheduling, billing, reporting, and business management functions. The role requires flexibility to work nights, evenings, and holidays as needed and demands someone who is professional, articulate, and capable of independent judgment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Minimum of three (3) years of event management, event operations, and/or event supervisory experience
  • Ability to develop and grow customer relationships
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Must be able to work nights, evenings, holidays as needed with a flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
  • Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Must be able to work nights/evenings/holidays as needed with a flexible schedule
  • Facilities management, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
  • Previous payroll, billing, and scheduling experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise the day-to-day event operations and staffing of an assigned client site
  • Manage a team of event supervisors and event staff including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support, discipline, and terminations
  • Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
  • Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
  • Assure communication of policies, company announcements and job openings through a consistently updated READ file at each site
  • Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for event security and event staff
  • Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
  • Maintain constant communication with direct manager regarding client issues or concerns, employee performance issues, guest complaints, injuries, or other important facts related to account/event assigned
  • Facilitate the timely invoicing of events and follows up with client to ensure payment
  • investigate and mitigate any impediments to the invoicing and payment process in conjunction with the Finance Manager
