Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- licensing required as per state and local laws
- minimum three years experience in event management or supervision
- experience in staff hiring and development
- ability to manage multiple priorities and diverse teams
- strong customer relationship skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, evenings, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
- minimum of three years of event management, event operations, and/or event supervisory experience
- experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff
- ability to develop and grow customer relationships
- ability to work in team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently
- ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, diverse team of employees and client requirements
- demonstrated ability to take initiative and effectively manage deadlines
- highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
- flexible to work nights, evenings, holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Supervise the day-to-day event operations and staffing of an assigned client site
- Manage a team of event supervisors and event staff including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support, discipline, and terminations
- Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
- Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
- Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
- Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
- Communicate staffing needs via requisition form
- assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates
