This full-time non-management position, based onsite and offering a consistent schedule with preferred availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, provides an hourly wage of $18.20 with eligibility for staff service charge compensation. The role primarily involves final breakdown of functions, cleaning and organizing event spaces, maintaining stock and work areas, and ensuring that linen and equipment are appropriately handled. Key responsibilities include closing duties such as storing reusable goods, locking doors, and breaking down materials, which contribute to the smooth operation of event services. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday preferred
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to lift objects over 75 pounds with assistance
  • Willingness to practice safe work habits and complete safety training
  • Ability to adhere to Marriott International standards and policies
  • Clear and professional communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Complete final breakdown of function by cleaning the room and returning equipment to proper location
  • Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, locking doors, breaking down goods
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
  • Transport dirty linen to correct area, separate napkins from tablecloths, restock linen shelves with clean linens
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the day practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Assist other departments to ensure optimum service to guests
