The role of Events Server/Bartender at the Sunset Marquis is an integral position that combines the art of mixology with top-tier event service. As an Events Server/Bartender, you will be tasked with preparing and serving alcoholic beverages while performing a variety of events-related duties including setup, service during the event, and cleanup afterward. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Luxury hotel/fine dining experience preferred
- High volume, fast-paced work environment experience preferred
- Food Handlers card is required
- Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is a plus

Job Duties
- Attend to guest needs and requests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Properly follow recipes to make and serve a wide variety of mixed drinks using an extensive range of ingredients
- Orders, requisitions, and stocks all liquor, beverage and other bar supplies according to company standards
- Ability to perform Events Server functions as needed, including proper setup/reset of guest sitting areas, attending to guest needs
- serve and make alcoholic beverages, ensuring that proper measurement and recipes are followed
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
- Properly and thoroughly set-up all server areas and complete all opening, closing, and side work duties during shift
- Check identification to verify legal age (21) requirements for all guests
- Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies and procedures
- Abide by all control, regulations, laws, and procedures related to food/alcohol service, safety, and sanitation
- Must be able to cross-train in other F&B related areas
