We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and energetic Event Servers/Bartenders to join our catering team on an on-call basis. This position offers the opportunity to work across a variety of events and venues, including corporate functions, social events, and upscale galas. The role involves providing food and beverage service, supporting event setup and breakdown, and contributing to creating seamless, enjoyable guest experiences. Ideal candidates should be hospitality-focused, comfortable serving or bartending, and able to perform efficiently in fast-paced event environments. The schedule is flexible and event-based, designed around event needs and team availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements
- Availability to work on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions
- Ability to carry trays and move safely through active event spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly lift up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Previous serving, bartending, catering, or hospitality experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented approach
- Department of Health Food Protection Certificate preferred
Job Duties
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Provide attentive, friendly service throughout each event
- Respond to guest requests and help resolve issues promptly
- Maintain a polished and professional presence
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Follow event recipes, specifications, and responsible alcohol-service practices
- Verify guest age when serving alcohol
- Maintain clean and organized bar areas
- Set up and break down tables, linens, service stations, and bar areas
- Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, clearing, and breakdown
- Maintain clean and organized service areas throughout events
- Coordinate with culinary and event teams to support smooth execution
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service guidelines
- Maintain safe and sanitary work areas
- Meet all legal requirements for serving alcohol
