In this role, the Sr. Technical Lead is responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment. The job requires troubleshooting technical issues swiftly during events to ensure flawless execution. The Sr. Technical Lead prioritizes customer service by maintaining positive relationships with clients and effectively communicating to meet or exceed expectations. They also collaborate with internal teams on event solutions to maximize client satisfaction.

Additionally, the Sr. Technical Lead plays a mentoring and leadership role by fostering technical and leadership skill development among fellow employees. They provide coaching to technical, sales, and operations teams to ensure all team members are prepared to deliver excellent event support.

This role includes supervising other technical staff during events, assisting with equipment security, maintenance, inventory management, and forecasting equipment needs. The work environment spans hotels, convention centers, event venues, and warehouses, with exposure to varied noise levels, outdoor elements, and high-end technology. Work hours may be irregular, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

Physical requirements for the position include lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds. The role demands sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing according to event needs. Visual and auditory acuity are also critical for operating complex audiovisual equipment accurately.

The Sr. Technical Lead position is ideal for candidates with experience in audiovisual technology, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in dynamic event environments.
