Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- California-issued Guard Card
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to climb stairs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexible schedule to cover 80% of events including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Must be able to respond calmly and professionally to emergencies
- Must maintain professional conduct and appearance
- Ability to submit to background checks and adhere to ethical standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent
- California-issued Guard Card
- 0-2+ years experience in sports and entertainment venue security preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of relevant penal codes
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to perform under pressure without loss of composure
- Familiarity with emergency procedures and crowd control techniques
Job Duties
- Maintain continuous 24-hour security coverage for the interior and exterior of the facility
- Conduct regular patrols to identify safety concerns and support event readiness
- Respond promptly and professionally to all safety and security calls
- Provide guest services including greeting patrons and assisting with directions
- Perform bag checks, operate wands, and monitor metal detectors for guests
- Support crowd management by monitoring ingress/egress and preventing congestion
- Assist with emergency procedures, evacuations, and incident response
- Complete assigned tasks within guidelines and deadlines
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to departmental standards
