The Security Officer role at Graton Resort & Casino is essential in maintaining the safety and security of guests, team members, and company assets. This full-time position requires an individual who is vigilant, professional, and dedicated to upholding the company’s standards, policies, and procedures. The Security Officer serves as a critical guardian of the resort's environment by patrolling public and employee areas, responding swiftly and effectively to disturbances, emergencies, or potentially hazardous situations. They play a vital role in enforcing laws, company policies, and safety regulations to prevent liability and risk to the property. This position involves not only physical presence but also strong observational skills, the ability to communicate calmly under pressure, and a commitment to confidentiality regarding security operations.

Security Officers at Graton Resort & Casino are expected to participate in ongoing training, including the Security Academy and Guest Intoxication Awareness courses, to stay prepared for any challenges encountered on the job. Moreover, the role requires transporting and safeguarding company funds and assets, maintaining detailed logs of daily activities, and ensuring all issued equipment is inspected and functional. The Security Officer upholds high grooming and uniform standards to reflect the professionalism of the resort and works collaboratively with fellow team members to create a positive, energized workplace environment. Job Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal form
high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
