Job Description
Allied Universal Event Services is a prominent leader in the crowd management and event staffing industry, known across the United States for providing reliable, professional, and dedicated security and staffing solutions at a wide variety of venues. This includes sports stadiums, concert halls, festivals, and convention centers. The company has established a strong reputation by servicing thousands of venues each year, ensuring safety, security, and a positive experience for all attendees. Allied Universal Event Services prides itself on being a go-to resource for event staffing needs, accommodating clients ranging from small gatherings to large, high-profile events. Their expertise lies not only in protecting the physical security of guests and venues but also in creating a welcoming environment where guests feel safe and comfortable.
This particular opportunity offers a chance to kick start your career in the dynamic and fast-paced field of event security. Allied Universal Event Services is currently hiring for Event Security positions supporting Game Days at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY. This role is part-time with flexible shift options ideal for individuals who need work schedules that align with other commitments such as school or family responsibilities. The hourly pay rate is $19.00, making it an appealing opportunity for students, retirees, or anyone seeking supplemental income in an engaging work environment.
As an Event Security team member, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the venue property while delivering excellent customer service that enriches the guest experience. This involves enforcement of access control through thorough screening procedures such as bag checks, metal detector scans, and verification of identification, wristbands, or tickets. The position requires a keen eye for detail to detect and prevent security breaches and the ability to respond promptly and professionally to crowd control situations. At the same time, you will act as an ambassador for the venue, providing friendly assistance and helpful directions to attendees, helping to make their event experience smooth and enjoyable.
Besides the day-of-event responsibilities, Event Security team members assist with event preparation and contribute to overall operational success. Success in this role requires understanding venue policies and procedures, working collaboratively with a friendly team, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Candidates with a New York State Guard Card are encouraged to mention this during the interview process. Allied Universal values integrity, vigilance, and excellent communication skills in its security personnel to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
In addition to a rewarding role embedded in the excitement of live events, team members enjoy benefits such as part-time flexible scheduling that suits their lifestyle, opportunities for career growth through ongoing paid training programs, sick pay, and access to a perks program offering discounts to restaurants and entertainment venues. These advantages reflect Allied Universal’s commitment to supporting its employees' work-life balance and personal growth.
Joining Allied Universal Event Services means becoming part of a vibrant and innovative team dedicated to safety, customer service excellence, and professional development. Each shift provides an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the security of high-profile events and create memorable experiences for thousands of guests. If you are looking for a flexible, fun, and dynamic job in event security, this is an excellent chance to be part of the action at one of Buffalo’s premier venues.
