Job Description

Lucky Strike Entertainment is one of the largest and most successful location-based entertainment companies in the world. Founded in 1997 with a single bowling center, Lucky Strike has grown exponentially to operate 360 upscale and traditional bowling centers, five expansive waterparks, a major amusement park in California, and 10 upscale Boomers Family Entertainment Centers across major markets. With a team of 14,000 associates and nearly 1.4 billion dollars in annual revenue, Lucky Strike is a powerhouse in the hospitality and entertainment industry, known for delivering memorable experiences for every guest on every visit. The company is dedicated to creating an environment where its employees can thrive and grow professionally while contributing to its continued success in redefining the entertainment sector.

The role of Event Sales Specialist at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a dynamic and influential position situated on the Core team at either the Oxnard or Moorpark location. This full-time hybrid role is crucial for driving the company’s corporate and social event business. As an Event Sales Specialist, you will take ownership of the entire sales cycle for groups ranging from 13 to 100 guests, handling corporate outings, social events, and organizational gatherings. Unlike roles that rely purely on inbound leads, this position requires proactive business development, which includes building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, nurturing relationships with local businesses and organizations, and consistently generating new accounts.

Success in this role is measured by your ability to convert and close deals efficiently, manage a high volume of diverse event types, and meet quarterly sales quotas. You will also be expected to lead and collaborate during BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings, ensuring seamless execution of events alongside venue operations teams. Maintaining an executive presence is vital as Lucky Strike operates a camera-first policy for all client and internal meetings, demanding a polished and professional demeanor.

Additionally, the Event Sales Specialist is responsible for post-event follow-up to encourage repeat bookings and foster long-term guest relationships. Working evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary to support the busiest times and provide exceptional service when clients need it most. This role offers a tiered commission structure that rewards strong performance and a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support your health, well-being, and financial future.

At Lucky Strike, you’re joining a passionate team focused on continuous improvement, loyalty, and delivering unparalleled entertainment experiences. The company encourages those with a background in sales, hospitality, or event planning who are organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to diverse event needs to apply. You’ll enjoy access to robust training, a supportive corporate culture, and extensive perks including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, wellness resources, and discounts across various entertainment venues owned by Lucky Strike. This is a rare opportunity to grow your career in a thriving, innovative company that values talent and dedication.
