Job Description

Lucky Strike Entertainment, formerly known as Bowlero Corp, is one of the world's premier location-based entertainment platforms. With over 360 locations across North America, the company specializes in providing immersive and memorable experiences through bowling, amusements, water parks, and family entertainment centers. It is widely recognized for its commitment to delivering high-energy, fun-filled environments for guests of all ages. Lucky Strike Entertainment also owns the Professional Bowlers Association, elevating its presence in major league bowling and popular media, attracting millions of fans worldwide. The company values a culture of professionalism, innovation, and quality customer service, underscoring its reputation as a leader in the entertainment industry.

As an Event Sales Specialist on the Core team at Lucky Strike Entertainment, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of corporate outings, social events, and organizational gatherings ranging from group sizes of 13 up to 100 guests. This hybrid position based in Southern California requires a dynamic sales professional who thrives on managing the full sales cycle. From initial inbound leads to proactive outbound outreach, your responsibility will be to develop a robust pipeline of prospects, nurture relationships with local businesses and organizations, and close bookings that align with client needs and budgets.

This role emphasizes not just sales but also the ability to manage multiple event types simultaneously. You will match each group with the ideal venue, package, and experience, ensuring seamless execution from contract signing through the event day. Lucky Strike Entertainment promotes a camera-first policy, meaning that all video communications require a polished professional presence, reflecting the company’s high standards. You will be expected to maintain this standard by presenting yourself with executive presence, appropriate attire, and a tidy environment during client interactions.

Beyond managing bookings, you will lead Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and collaborate closely with venue operations teams to guarantee smooth event execution. Maintaining long-term relationships with guests by conducting retention outreach and follow-ups after events is a critical component of your success. Your ability to balance a high volume of clients, efficiently handle multiple inquiries, and meet quarterly sales quotas will be key to thriving in this position. Compensation consists of an hourly wage of $28.85, plus a 2% to 3% commission, along with performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package that includes healthcare coverage and other benefits.
