Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree or 1 plus years of relevant experience
- familiarity with technology sales or hospitality industry
- experience in audiovisual sales preferred
- proficiency with computers and technical tools
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Qualifications

- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred

Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach utilizing Encore’s sales process and methodology
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals promptly to customers including those submitted through the venue booking system
- Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support customer event experience
- Understand event cost structures and incorporate profitability guidelines into solution designs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and Encore supporting departments to deliver world-class service
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline ensuring achievement of revenue targets
- Keep all opportunities documented and updated in the Customer Relationship Management system
- Support sales forecasting efforts ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Learn and adopt all standard operating procedures and any new initiatives or programs
- Maintain knowledge of new product and service offerings and emerging technologies in meetings and events
