Being part of the Tennessee State Parks Marketing team means contributing to a larger mission to balance conservation with hospitality to increase public engagement and revenue. \n\nThe Event Sales Manager role, based in Nashville, TN, with a hybrid work model, is an integral position within the Tennessee State Parks Marketing team focused on group sales initiatives specifically geared towards promoting and increasing hospitality and operational revenue across Tennessee State Parks. The role supports TSP in achieving its ambitious annual revenue targets through strategic pricing and sales collateral review, optimizing venues for guest satisfaction while maximizing profitability. This position involves collaborating extensively with lodge hospitality, operational staff, external partners, and vendors to ensure that sales tactics and marketing campaigns align effectively with revenue goals. The manager will also be responsible for refining policies and improving processes to enhance sales efficiency and customer engagement. Additional duties include contract development, leveraging reservation systems and integrated software tools, and compiling sales and revenue reports to monitor performance. The role requires someone who is skilled in communication, sales strategies, and website usage, with a high level of motivation and team collaboration skills. This position typically requires 12 or more months of experience in a sales-related field and encourages applicants with a bachelor's degree background. This hybrid position combines onsite engagement with the flexibility of remote work, ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic and results-driven environments where objective achievement and customer satisfaction are equally prioritized.
