Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience
- Preferably hospitality or technology sales background
- Proficiency with CRM and sales processes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet physical demands including ability to sit, stand, and walk for several hours
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
- Technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach, utilizing Encore’s sales process and methodology
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers
- Collaborate with vendors and other departments/divisions of the company to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience
- Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs according to established profitability guidelines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and various Encore supporting functions and departments
- Maintain a healthy pipeline ensuring achievement of revenue targets and keep CRM up to date and accurate at all times
