Job Requirements
- BS or BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales or event technology role
- Technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of audiovisual sales is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting
- Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in hotel and convention center environments
Job Qualifications
- BS or BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Encore or equivalent role
- Experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
- Prior audiovisual sales experience is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits and planning meetings to support customer event experiences
- Understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines into solution designs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and internal departments
- Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline and CRM
- Support sales forecasting and adopt standard operating procedures
- Learn and maintain knowledge of new products and emerging event technology
