Job Requirements

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales or event technology role
  • Technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of audiovisual sales is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in hotel and convention center environments

Job Qualifications

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Encore or equivalent role

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings to support customer event experiences
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines into solution designs
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and internal departments
  • Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline and CRM
