Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • Familiarity with audiovisual sales preferred
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry sales processes preferred
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Encore or similar company
  • Experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
  • Prior audiovisual sales experience a plus
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive revenue by soliciting and securing business through a consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning, and venue meetings
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and Encore departments
  • Maintain accurate and updated customer information in CRM
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline ensuring achievement of revenue targets
  • Support sales forecasting efforts and submit timely reports
  • Learn and adopt standard operating procedures and new initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge of new products, service offerings, and emerging event technologies
