Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • At least one year of relevant sales experience
  • Proficiency in technology and computer applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hotel/convention environment
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to meet job demands including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and clients

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of experience in Encore or similar environment
  • Experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
  • Prior sales experience in audiovisual equipment is a plus
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive revenue generation through proactive consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present timely quotes and proposals to customers
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to secure and service events
  • Attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings
  • Understand event cost structures and design profitable solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage sales pipeline
  • Support sales forecasting and adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Stay updated on new product offerings and emerging technologies
