The role of Sales Manager / Private Event Manager at Fogo de Chao is a dynamic and vital position focused on driving sales growth through active prospecting and event planning for groups of 15 or more within an assigned restaurant. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, maintaining key client relationships, and ensuring exceptional event execution from inquiry to completion. This role requires consistent communication and coordination using CRM tools such as Tripleseat and Open Table, maintaining detailed records, and efficiently converting leads into bookings while adhering to company standards and procedures.

The Sales Manager collaborates closely with the General Manager and restaurant leadership team to develop and implement quarterly sales plans and execute local store marketing activities. They act as ambassadors for the Fogo brand, representing the company at networking events and fostering strong relationships to drive revenue. The position demands strategic thinking abilities to forecast business and create profitable bookings that align with overall business objectives while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction.

In addition to sales and marketing duties, the Sales Manager must demonstrate operational acumen by understanding accounting procedures and contributing to financial accuracy. They will attend regular company trainings and meetings, ensuring alignment with Fogo de Chao's high standards of integrity and professionalism. The role requires availability to participate in on-site marketing events, conduct guest site tours, and engage with live chat services multiple times monthly. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of sales or relevant experience
  • Experience in the restaurant or attraction industry preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various office applications
  • Ability to work live chat 3-4 times a month
  • Ability to be on-site at the home restaurant a minimum of 5 days a week
  • Ability to work necessary hours to perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner
  • Up to 10% travel required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales or relevant experience
  • Experience in the restaurant or attraction industry preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various office applications

Job Duties

  • Grow sales through active prospecting of targeted businesses, organizations, associations, and event planning for groups of 15 or more in assigned restaurant
  • Enter all prospects, contacts, accounts and booking information in the CRM (Tripleseat) and enter basic reservation information in Open Table for booked parties greater than 15
  • Maintain weekly updates and details on current leads through Tripleseat, and convert those leads to bookings, accounts, and contacts
  • Act as primary contact for all group clients, ensuring completion of event details and client satisfaction
  • Manage the booking process to obtain client signatures on CRM-generated contracts and event order forms to confirm bookings
  • Update documents and Operations with changes
  • Develop quarterly sales plans and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships in their restaurant
  • Full cycle sales management, including following proper accounting procedures
