Job Description
Fogo de Chao is a renowned Brazilian steakhouse chain that offers guests a distinctive dining experience centered around the Culinary Art of Churrasco, a traditional Brazilian method of barbecuing premium cuts of meat over an open flame. With locations across the United States and internationally, Fogo de Chao is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality, high-quality food, and an inviting atmosphere that emphasizes both camaraderie and cultural tradition. The company promotes core values such as teamwork, integrity, excellence, humility, and a supportive mindset known as Deixa Comigo, which translates to "we've got you." This approach cultivates a workplace environment that inspires growth, learning, and inclusivity for team members while ensuring outstanding service for every guest.\n\nThe Sales Manager/Private Event Manager role at Fogo de Chao is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. This full-time position focuses primarily on growing sales through targeted prospecting and event planning for groups of 15 or more within the restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from generating new leads to closing profitable bookings, while serving as the primary contact for group clients and ensuring an exceptional experience from inquiry to event completion.\n\nIn this role, you will actively prospect targeted businesses, organizations, associations, and event planners to drive restaurant group sales, utilizing the company's CRM system, Tripleseat, and reservation platform, Open Table. You will maintain detailed records of current leads and convert those leads into confirmed bookings, while collaboratively strategizing with the General Manager and restaurant teams to source and execute local marketing activities. Strong business acumen and forecasting ability will be essential to plan sales goals and anticipate market trends months in advance. You'll also act as a brand ambassador at networking and public events, fostering relationships to increase revenue streams.\n\nThis position requires excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills to handle bookings professionally and with attention to detail, managing contracts and event orders through the CRM. The ability to multitask, keep up with administrative duties, and work collaboratively with various restaurant departments is critical for success. Fogo de Chao values innovative thinking and resilience, offering training opportunities and career growth paths within its corporate structure.\n\nEmployee benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time hourly employees after 60 days, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and additional voluntary benefits like critical illness and pet insurance. The company fosters an inclusive culture and is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
