Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience
- Proven sales success
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with event sales software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in banquet, catering, entertainment or venue sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple events
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in event sales systems such as Caterease, Toast, and Placez
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Duties
- Proactively source, qualify, and secure banquet and catering event business
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
- Develop customized event proposals including upsell opportunities
- Conduct venue tours for prospective clients
- Serve as liaison between clients and internal departments
- Collaborate with Culinary and AV teams to finalize event details
- Oversee on-site event execution to ensure timelines and quality standards
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Prepare contracts, proposals, and post-event billing
- Track sales activity and revenue forecasts
- Monitor event profitability and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with marketing to promote events
- Participate in trade shows and networking events
- Maintain knowledge of competitive venues and industry trends
