Job Description

Topgolf is a dynamic sports entertainment company that has revolutionized the way millions of people experience golf. Combining golf, food and beverage, events, and entertainment, Topgolf offers a unique atmosphere that consistently draws guests back for more. Known for its high-energy and fast-paced venues, Topgolf creates memorable experiences that blend sport with social interaction, making it a popular destination for individuals, families, and corporate groups alike. The company’s innovative approach to golf entertainment has established it as a leader in its industry, creating numerous career opportunities for those who thrive in vibrant and results-driven environments.

Topgolf is currently seeking an Event Sales Manager who will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and enhancing guest experiences through expert management of the full sales cycle. This role thrives in high-volume environments and demands a professional who owns their sales pipeline, actively prospecting and nurturing client relationships from the initial inquiry through to the successful execution of events. As an Event Sales Manager, you will engage with prospective clients, conduct site tours, craft persuasive proposals, and ensure flawless event delivery in collaboration with operations and culinary teams. This position requires dedication, energy, and a customer-focused attitude to convert first-time clients into loyal repeat customers.

The Event Sales Manager is expected to manage a robust pipeline of inbound leads while also engaging in targeted outbound prospecting efforts during designated Power Hours. Success in this role means consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets by progressing every opportunity to closure, identifying upsell possibilities, and maintaining meticulous communication regarding event details through Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). The role demands flexibility, including working evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons or special events to ensure top-notch client satisfaction and operational execution.

Beyond sales, this position emphasizes building strong relationships and maintaining high standards of professionalism to uphold the Topgolf brand’s reputation. You will be a key player in tracking daily performance metrics, ensuring data integrity, and suggesting process improvements to optimize sales effectiveness. As a team member, you will participate in daily huddles, weekly meetings, and one-on-one sessions with sales leadership, demonstrating Core Values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring in all interactions.

Topgolf values individuals who are results-driven, customer-focused, excellent communicators, and accountable. The company supports its team members through competitive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with team member matching, free mental well-being platforms, and perks such as free play and half-price food for qualifying employees. If you are ready to advance your sales career in a thriving hospitality and entertainment company known for its energetic and inclusive culture, the Event Sales Manager role at Topgolf offers a compelling opportunity to grow and succeed.
