The Event Sales Manager role is a pivotal revenue-generating position focused on expanding event business and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This salaried position offers compensation between $75,000 and $85,000 and demands a proactive approach to sales, networking, and client relationship management. The manager’s primary responsibility is to canvass the local community, foster new and existing relationships with individuals, organizations, and businesses, and actively promote the LifeWorks venue as the preferred choice for events of all kinds. The Event Sales Manager works closely with event planners to guide clients throughout the planning process, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations and the event's overall success. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 1-3 years hospitality industry experience
- Experience in catering or banquets preferred
- Ability to work independently across multiple facilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of menu planning and event operations
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
- Availability for event-based hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain required certifications
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related discipline
- 1-3 years in hospitality industry with catering or banquet experience
