Job Description

Topgolf is a leading sports entertainment company that has revolutionized how millions of people experience golf. Combining golf, food and beverage, events, and entertainment into one comprehensive experience, Topgolf attracts a diverse clientele to its high-energy venues. These venues serve as lively social hubs, offering guests a unique blend of fun and competitive gaming along with excellent service and dining options. The company’s commitment to innovation and guest satisfaction has positioned it as a standout name in the industry, making it a great place for individuals looking to build a serious and rewarding career in a vibrant environment.

The role of Event Sales Manager at Topgolf is a critical position responsible for driving revenue growth through the complete management of the sales lifecycle. This includes handling both inbound leads and proactive outbound business development efforts. The Event Sales Manager is tasked with owning the sales pipeline, converting prospects into loyal clients, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality events that exceed customer expectations. Working within a fast-paced, high-volume venue, this leadership role demands a highly motivated, energetic individual who thrives in dynamic environments and can adapt schedules to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event periods.

This position requires strategic ownership of the sales process—from initial inquiry, venue tour, proposals, to closing the sale—delivering an experience that turns first-time clients into repeat customers. A key component of the role is partnering closely with operations and culinary teams to flawlessly execute events and maintain detailed communications through Banquet Event Orders to avoid day-of issues. The Event Sales Manager also plays an important role in tracking business performance by reviewing metrics, maintaining accurate pipeline data, and driving continuous improvement through thoughtful feedback and collaboration.

This opportunity is ideal for a seller who is disciplined, self-motivated, and possesses a strong sense of ownership over their work outcomes and pipeline. Candidates with a proven track record of success in event or hospitality sales, a passion for customer experience excellence, and strong communication skills will find this position rewarding. Topgolf emphasizes its core values of fun, teamwork, excellence, courage, and caring, expecting these qualities to permeate every interaction both within the team and with clients.

In addition to competitive pay and the chance to grow within an iconic brand, Topgolf offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, free play, and discounted food. The company is also committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a respectful and equitable workplace for all employees. If you are ready to build a book of business and grow professionally in an exceptional entertainment environment, the Event Sales Manager role at Topgolf represents an exciting career opportunity.
