Job Description
Empire Medical Training is the nation’s leading education seminar provider specifically dedicated to physicians, nurses, and other licensed healthcare professionals. Founded nearly 30 years ago, Empire Medical Training has grown into a nationally recognized leader offering accredited training seminars and certification programs across the United States. Specializing in the fields of Aesthetics, Anti-Aging, and Pain Management, the company provides a robust curriculum featuring more than 52 workshops, each designed and delivered by some of the most renowned professionals in the medical community. The training focuses on practical, hands-on learning experiences including techniques such as Botox injections, laser treatments, and epidural injections, providing healthcare professionals with valuable skills to grow their expertise and increase their earning potential.
Empire Medical Training delivers education through both live, interactive workshops held at hotels nationwide and online programs that supplement Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements. The company prides itself on a culture of innovation and excellence, striving to shape the future of medical training by continuously enhancing the relevance and quality of their offerings.
The Event Sales Manager role at Empire Medical Training is a dynamic and high-energy position ideal for a self-motivated individual with excellent presentation and phone skills, as well as an outgoing personality. This full-time role involves splitting time between the Fort Lauderdale office and live seminars across the country. The manager will be instrumental in running successful events, managing logistics such as sign-ins, room setup, and material distribution, and working closely with physician clients to upsell training and certification programs. The role demands proficiency in relationship-building and sales, as well as strong organizational skills to manage databases, CRM tools, and administrative responsibilities including expense reporting and inventory management.
Travel is a key component of this position, with a schedule that typically requires 1-2 weekends per month spent at seminars in cities such as New York, Texas, Las Vegas, Orlando, and more. These events usually run from Friday through Sunday or Monday. Flexibility in balancing travel and office work is essential, and the company offers paid vacation, paid time off, and days off following weekend travel to accommodate a healthy work-life balance.
Compensation for the Event Sales Manager includes a base salary ranging from $50,000 to $55,000 plus a 5% commission and bonus structure with no cap. Most members of the event sales team earn between $90,000 and $120,000 annually, with top performers making over $100,000. Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan with company matching, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, and various paid time off options.
Empire Medical Training is committed to career growth and internal promotion, making this position ideal for someone looking to establish a long-term career within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The company values professionalism, integrity, positivity, and flexibility, and particularly appreciates bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish. Background and reference checks are standard parts of the hiring process.
By joining Empire Medical Training as an Event Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in advancing medical education and helping healthcare professionals develop critical skills that impact patient care and business growth. The opportunity to work with a respected leader in medical training, combined with competitive compensation and career advancement prospects, makes this position a compelling choice for motivated sales professionals seeking both challenge and reward.
