Job Description
Topgolf is a leading sports entertainment company that has revolutionized how millions of people enjoy golf. Combining golf, food and beverage, events, and entertainment into one cohesive experience, Topgolf creates a lively and engaging atmosphere that draws guests back time and again. Their venues are known for being high-energy and high-volume environments where individual and team performance are highly valued. This makes Topgolf not just a great place to have fun but also an ideal destination for those looking to build a serious and rewarding career. With a focus on innovation and guest satisfaction, Topgolf continues to be a pioneer in the sports and entertainment industry, continually expanding its reach and influence.
The role of Event Sales Manager at Topgolf is a dynamic sales position with an annual base salary of $50,000 plus commissions, which are uncapped and highly competitive. The compensation package also includes an annual merit plan increase, full benefits, a 401(k) plan with company matching, an attractive paid time off package, and other perks. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, results-driven environment and who enjoys managing the complete sales lifecycle for event sales.
As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing a high-volume inbound sales pipeline while actively pursuing outbound business development opportunities. You will own every step in the sales process — from initial inquiry to conducting venue tours, creating customized proposals, and closing deals. Your goal will be to convert new clients into repeat customers by delivering a top-tier customer experience with each interaction.
The position requires a flexible schedule, including availability during evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods when the venue is busiest. Collaborating closely with operations and culinary teams, you will help ensure flawless event execution, maintaining precise communication details and building lasting client relationships. Success in this role demands discipline in outreach, energy in customer interactions, and a strong customer focus.
Topgolf is committed to fostering a work environment where core values such as fun, teamwork, excellence, courage, and caring are lived out every day. The Event Sales Manager will be engaged in daily huddles, weekly meetings, and ongoing one-on-one coaching to align on goals and maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Candidates should be motivated by achieving meaningful revenue results, building strong client relationships, communicating effectively with diverse audiences, and taking full ownership of their sales performance.
If you are passionate about sales, excel at managing complex sales cycles, and want to grow your career with a globally recognized brand in sports entertainment, then this role at Topgolf offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity.
