Job Description
Topgolf is a globally recognized sports entertainment company that has revolutionized the way millions of people experience golf. By combining golf with food and beverage, events, and entertainment, Topgolf has created dynamic and high-energy venues that attract a broad and diverse audience. Known for their innovative approach, Topgolf venues are vibrant, high-volume environments where guests come not only to play golf but also to enjoy an engaging social and entertainment experience. This unique blend of activities creates an atmosphere where performance matters, results are impactful, and careers can be built seriously and successfully.
The Event Sales Manager role at Topgolf is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most recognizable brands in the sports entertainment industry. This position is based in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania and involves ownership of the full sales cycle for events, including managing inbound leads and developing outbound business opportunities. The manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining a strong pipeline, converting accounts, and delivering exceptional client experiences that encourage repeat business.
As the face of event sales at a high-energy venue, the Event Sales Manager ensures every guest interaction reflects Topgolf's commitment to fun, excellence, and hospitality. This role requires a dedicated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and who is motivated to meet and exceed ambitious sales goals. Flexibility is essential as the schedule includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons or special events.
The job involves executing the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry to event execution, including venue tours, proposal development, and closing deals. The manager fosters strong partnerships with operations and culinary teams to guarantee flawless event delivery and client satisfaction. Maintaining accurate communication through Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) is critical to preventing issues and ensuring seamless event execution.
In addition to sales expertise, the role demands sharp business acumen with daily monitoring of performance metrics and pipeline accuracy to support effective forecasting. The Event Sales Manager actively seeks opportunities to improve sales processes and contributes to the growth of the Topgolf brand within the local community through networking and professional engagement.
This leadership role also emphasizes teamwork, demanding active participation in daily and weekly sales meetings and alignment with venue priorities and targets. The manager must demonstrate Topgolf's core values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring in all interactions.
Topgolf values candidates with strong sales experience, preferably in hospitality or event sales, with a focus on leadership and CRM proficiency, specifically Salesforce. This is a role for a driven, customer-focused sales leader who is committed to accountability, results, and exceptional client service. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, access to a mental well-being platform, free play, and discounted food as part of their commitment to employee wellness and satisfaction.
