The role of Event Sales at The Historic Davenport Hotel encompasses the responsibility of driving and managing the hotel’s banquet food and beverage sales for both in-house groups and external clients. This position involves comprehensive servicing of events, ensuring a seamless experience from initial menu planning through to agenda setting and coordination of hotel meeting services. As an Event Sales professional, you will act as a vital liaison, reviewing contracts meticulously and facilitating clear and effective communication before, during, and after events. Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in hotel sales
  • minimum 1 year food and beverage experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
