Job Description

Hyatt is a globally recognized hospitality company renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through the dedication and professionalism of its associates. As a luxury hospitality brand, Hyatt operates a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts worldwide, catering to business travelers, tourists, and event attendees alike. The company prides itself on a culture of caring and attentiveness, ensuring guests receive efficient service and meaningful interactions in every stay. Hyatt's steadfast commitment to quality, innovative services, and community engagement has positioned it as a leader within the hotel industry.

The Event Sales Manager role at Hyatt is a dynamic position focused on selling and managing events primarily in the social market segment, with an emphasis on weddings and celebratory occasions for groups ranging from 100 to 400 guests. This role is integral to Hyatt's ability to attract and secure significant event business, driving revenue growth through strategic client relationship management and expert sales execution. Unlike event planning or on-site coordination positions, the Event Sales Manager partners closely with Social Event Planning Managers and Event Coordinators to ensure a seamless transition from sales to event execution.

The responsibilities include responding to initial event inquiries, crafting compelling proposals, conducting engaging site tours, negotiating contract terms, and finalizing agreements. The role requires a proactive and organized approach to managing the full sales lifecycle, ensuring clients receive a high-touch experience from first contact through contract signing. Hyatt seeks individuals who possess a genuine passion for hospitality and a strong desire to exceed client expectations within a fast-paced environment. The position is on-site, emphasizing direct collaboration with hotel teams to facilitate smooth communications before, during, and after every event.
