Job Requirements

  • prefer three years of hotel event/catering sales experience
  • must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in technology and financial management
  • must be detail-oriented and organized

Job Duties

  • sell banquet food, beverage, and meeting room rental
  • achieve individual revenue goals
  • service events by coordinating with hotel staff
  • facilitate communication before, during, and after events
  • conduct business development activities
  • review contracts and manage event deposits
  • plan menus and set agendas
  • host hotel tours
  • maintain strong customer, community, and brand relationships
  • participate in and lead event and staff meetings
  • collaborate with sales, events, and operations teams
