This key role involves leading and managing all event operations at Skyline, ensuring that from the initial inquiry through to event execution, every guest enjoys an exceptional and seamless experience. The Events & Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving strong event sales while coordinating logistics and event details effectively. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing entertainment venue known for its energetic atmosphere and dedicated team. The work schedule primarily covers weekdays with shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, including occasional weekends to accommodate event needs.\n\nBeyond just event management, this role requires proactive engagement with guests and the community, managing leads, scheduling group events and private parties, coordinating food and entertainment options, and ensuring high standards of service. The manager will oversee the event team, optimize processes, handle contracts and bookings using specialized software, and work closely with operations managers to meet all event requirements. Job Duties
- Lead, manage, and hold the events team accountable
- manage online leads and build relationships
- communicate with potential and current guests via phone, in-person, and digitally
- coordinate and host tours of event spaces
- represent Skyline in the community at events
- schedule and coordinate large group private events and parties
- help organize food, drinks, room reservations, buyouts, and entertainment options
- schedule ongoing or repeat events
- implement and optimize event processes
- request event feedback and communicate with team members
- coordinate with operations managers for event needs and special requests
- ensure a positive guest experience for all events
- standardize contracts, execution handbooks, and event packets
- track performance and analyze sales trends
- manage room and group booking software
- organize and manage special events into banquet event orders
- schedule and coordinate Skyline team building and company events
