Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Minimum three years of sales-related experience
- Facility or industry experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
- High aptitude for figures
- Advanced writing skills
- Professional presentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Ability to work long and irregular hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Use sales and marketing principles to promote the facility and maximize revenue potential
- Send client pre-event information and follow-up communications
- Manage contracts and budgets including drafting agreements, negotiating rates, preparing payment schedules, and collections
- Develop long-term sales strategies to increase convention services and profits
- Collaborate with Destination Marketing Organization and hospitality partners to analyze economic impact of events
- Conduct familiarization tours, site visits and presentations for clients and trade professionals
- Maintain relationships with service providers, decorators, and vendors
- Work with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution
- Develop and deliver on sales goals and metrics
- Coordinate with Food and Beverage team to boost banquet and catering business
- Act as Manager on Duty on a rotating schedule
- Work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
