The role of the Event Sales Manager at Puttery is a dynamic and strategic position essential to driving event revenue and cultivating long-term client relationships. This full-time opportunity focuses on the complete sales cycle starting from rapid response to inbound event leads, efficient qualification, and guiding clients through tailored event options including packages, pricing, and logistics. The role requires managing all aspects of the booking process including proposals, contracts, deposits, and confirmation while maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in CRM and sales tracking systems. In addition to managing incoming leads, the Event Sales Manager proactively generates new business through outbound prospecting, community engagement, networking, and brand representation throughout the city.

Success in this position demands quick decision-making, creativity in client engagement strategies, and the discipline to manage a robust sales pipeline with a strong emphasis on forecasting and revenue generation. The individual must be an effective communicator and negotiator who builds meaningful relationships with corporate planners, social event organizers, hospitality partners, and local organizations. Furthermore, the role involves collaborating closely with internal teams including marketing, operations, culinary, beverage, and floor leadership to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales marketing hospitality or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in sales or event management preferably in hospitality or entertainment sectors
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High energy and motivation to meet performance-based goals
  • Knowledge of local market trends and event demand

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in event sales hospitality sales nightlife or experiential venues
  • Proven ability to manage high lead volume while maintaining quality and urgency
  • Demonstrated success in outbound sales or proactive lead generation
  • Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable representing the brand externally and operating independently in the market
  • Organized detail-oriented and confident working across CRM and sales systems
  • Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt sales techniques to different client types and environments

Job Duties
