The Event Sales Coordinator at Hyatt Regency Baltimore plays an essential role in the hotel’s sales and events operations. As a liaison between event managers and meeting or event planners, the coordinator ensures smooth execution and seamless communication throughout the event lifecycle. This includes providing on-site support, resolving guest issues efficiently, and maintaining professional interaction at all times. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintain high level of knowledge of the hotel offerings and departments
  • support event planning managers on the meeting floor
  • answer phone professionally and communicate inbound calls to sales and events team
  • perform property site tours as requested
  • submit purchase orders and other necessary entries into Hyatt software systems
  • assist with group VIPs and send alerts to the hotel
  • offer warm and sincere welcome and farewell to all guests
  • coordinate communication between various hotel departments for definite groups and social events
  • resolve guest issues promptly and effectively
  • maintain awareness of safety issues and report incidents
  • attend daily and weekly departmental meetings
  • project a professional company image in all interactions
  • perform general clerical duties to support the events team
