Established in 2015, OVG has rapidly expanded its influence, managing an impressive portfolio of seven world-class owned venues and catering to a distinguished client roster that includes iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This dynamic company is dedicated to revolutionizing the live entertainment experience through innovative solutions and exceptional service delivery, supporting a wide array of events and entertainment activities worldwide.
As an Event Sales Coordinator at Oak View Group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales & Events team by orchestrating the planning, sales, and execution of diverse private events such as meetings, receptions, weddings, corporate functions, and special events. This position acts as a primary liaison for clients, guiding them seamlessly through the event planning process while ensuring top-tier customer service. Your responsibilities will span from handling initial inquiries to coordinating logistical details, managing contracts, and collaborating with internal teams including culinary, food and beverage, operations, and venue management. Your efforts will directly contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality events that not only meet but exceed client expectations, ultimately driving revenue growth for the company.
This role offers an hourly pay range between $25.00 and $30.00, coupled with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, as well as paid time off encompassing vacation days, sick leave, and 11 holidays annually. The Event Sales Coordinator will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of events, from responding to venue inquiries, conducting venue tours, and preparing proposals and contracts, to coordinating all operational aspects such as room layouts, catering, audiovisual needs, rentals, and decor.
Collaborating closely with various departments, you will ensure seamless communication and flawless execution throughout each event, serving as the on-site representative when necessary. Additionally, this role involves maintaining meticulous event documentation, tracking deposits and payments alongside the finance team, generating sales reports, and assisting with forecasting to support departmental goals. The environment at OVG is highly collaborative, demanding strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage simultaneous events effectively.
Oak View Group prides itself on fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture, recognizing that such an environment drives innovation, enhances service quality, and uplifts excellence. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities, emphasizing its dedication to creating a workplace where all voices are heard and valued, reflecting the diverse communities that OVG serves. Joining OVG means becoming part of a forward-thinking team that is united to make a meaningful difference in the live entertainment industry while advancing your career in a supportive and dynamic setting.
