Job Description
Encore is a leading global provider specializing in event technology and production services, committed to delivering world-class experiences for events of all sizes. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, Encore supports a diverse range of events from corporate meetings to large-scale conventions, offering advanced audiovisual technology and expert support to ensure seamless event execution. Known for its dedication to quality and professional service, Encore operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering services that empower venues and clients to create unforgettable experiences. The company's workforce is comprised of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about the meetings and events industry, consistently striving to exceed customer expectations and foster enduring client relationships.
The Sales Coordinator role at Encore is an integral position within the Event Technology team, primarily responsible for selling equipment and technology services to support events, with a concentrated focus on smaller events generating less than $5,000 in revenue. This full-time position requires strong sales administration capabilities including order entry, opportunity management, and attentive customer follow-up to ensure flawless service delivery. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director of Customer Support, the Sales Coordinator acts as a vital link between clients and operational teams, ensuring that all sales interactions translate into successful event experiences. The role involves managing a full spectrum of sales-related tasks such as handling BEO bookings, directing qualified leads to the company's ecommerce platform EventNow, and collaborating closely with venue leadership to coordinate event technology requirements. Effective communication skills, technical aptitude, and proficiency with sales technology tools are essential to excel in this position. The role also requires responsiveness and ownership in managing sales orders and customer inquiries via multiple channels like phone, email, and online chat. The working environment is typically office-based with varying noise levels and may include irregular hours, on-call availability, and occasional weekend or holiday shifts. Compensation for this role ranges from $20.65 to $26.84 per hour, commensurate with experience and location. Encore is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace culture that values unique talents and promotes belonging among its employees. This role offers not only a competitive salary but also opportunities for overtime, bonuses, and incentives along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee wellbeing and professional growth.
