Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, event planning, or related field
- Prior experience leading projects or teams, formal management experience preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Customer-focused mindset with confidence communicating with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Calm, confident, and professional leader who thrives in live environments and leads by presence and example
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive management promoting belonging, trust, and equitable collaboration
- Comfortable working within established systems while contributing feedback to improve processes
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event sales, CRM or event management systems preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Candidates must pass pre-employment background check, have a clean driving record, and pass drug test
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during event execution
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for event setup and operations

Job Duties
- Support development and execution of sales strategies for new event client acquisition and bookings
- Oversee daily execution of event sales activity for private and internal events ensuring prompt and professional inquiry handling
- Maintain visibility and oversight of the event sales pipeline to track leads, follow-ups, booking conversions, and key milestones
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales activity, open opportunities, and pending revenue
- Manage lead workflows assigning inquiries and balancing workloads among Event Sales Coordinators
- Oversee preparation and quality control of proposals, contracts, and event documentation aligned with pricing and sales strategies
- Participate in direct sales to support team capacity and handle high-profile or VIP clients
- Provide oversight of invoicing and payment collection ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Enforce adherence to sales processes and communication guidelines ensuring team accountability
- Manage accuracy and quality of sales-to-operations handoff and event documentation
- Collaborate closely with Event Experience Assistant Manager to align client expectations and priorities
- Ensure Sales Coordinators prepare detailed event information for planning meetings
- Support VIP clients to ensure clear communication and satisfaction during planning
- Track guest sentiment and feedback to inform improvements in sales practices and guest experience
- Lead and support Event Sales Coordinators providing guidance, prioritization, and accountability
- Manage workloads and deadlines to meet service standards
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching of sales team members
- Reinforce professional conduct and act as resource for sales process questions
- Handle escalated client concerns and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Reinforce training to ensure consistent adoption of sales processes and tools
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Maintain detailed records and reporting on sales activity and performance
- Support special projects and program launches as directed
- Maintain coordination with cross-department partners including Marketing, IT, Facilities, and Guest Services
- Facilitate smooth handoffs from sales to event execution ensuring client satisfaction
- Directly supervise Event Sales Coordinators with responsibility for workflow and task delegation
- Provide input on performance feedback and development of sales team members
- Foster connection, trust, and transparency through honest and inclusive leadership
- Maintain open two-way communication to fuel innovation and collaboration
- Promote a culture of psychological safety and accountability to enhance workplace joy and impact
