Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years of experience in related management
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize and coordinate multiple priorities
- Leadership capability
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally and up to 30 lbs seldom
- Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally
- Frequent local and national travel availability
- Fluent in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s or business degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in related management
- Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people
- Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities
- Ability to work well as a team leader
- Ability to problem-solve
- Strong customer service abilities
- Actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers
Job Duties
- Serve as the primary contact for all booked events, managing execution from initial sale through completion
- Oversee and direct the event coordinator, banquet setup, and day-of service staff
- Coordinate and manage room and catering sales efforts to meet departmental goals
- Conduct targeted, appointment-based sales outreach to drive direct business
- Meet or exceed budgeted revenue targets on a month-over-month basis
- Grow and maintain key accounts, identifying opportunities to increase revenue
- Build strong client relationships through consistent, professional communication
