As a non-exempt, full-time position within the sales department, the Event Rental Associate role is integral to supporting the Event Director and Sales Manager by managing certain house accounts and contributing to the smooth operation of event-related activities. This position entails a mix of office work and onsite visits, requiring a versatile individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.
The Event Rental Associate is responsible for creating and updating orders for house accounts, recommending and renting equipment to clients, and assisting with themed decor design and maintenance. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities are essential for addressing client needs and ensuring successful event execution. Computer literacy, including familiarity with both PC and Mac platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Docs, is necessary for managing orders and communication. Previous experience in the event or sales industry is preferred, emphasizing the value of practical knowledge and industry insight. Peter Corvallis Productions values a cooperative team environment, professional appearance, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The company offers benefits such as sick leave, rental discounts, paid holidays, and paid time off for full-time employees.
